my "short" version clocks in @ 6:42 and is complete, and doesn't seem to be missing any high frequencies (although I'm not positive I'd notice.)

Getting back to the point (and away from Wendy James!) wasn't it planned as a b-side to one of the FALAA singles but would have meant paying royalties (or whatever) as well?
i may be living in a paralell universe but I was under the impression it was released? I am sure i saw [in well known birmingham record shop] in about 1992, but to my eternal chagrin, i already had the Walk Away 12" and at the time wasn't fussed enough to buy 'the same record with a different b-side'.

(Am i correct in thinking that most of the singles had at least 2 diffrerent releases sometimes only available through Reptile House (as was)

EG. The D.B 12" was also in 5000ltd ed with two different [poor] bootlegs from the same concert) as the Knocking on Heaven's Door bootleg was

I'd guess the different single releases were bootlegs. I'm not aware of any alternate official versions of any of the singles.

But I may be wrong 8)

Doctor Jeep was available in 2 different official versions, KOHD on the one and (I think) Burn and Amphetamine Logic on the other.

Temple '92 was the only other release in a similar vein, where the 7 had I Was Wrong and the 12 had VT.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

As far as I know, Detonation Boulevard wasn't released on 12", only as a CD Promo.
You're probably thinking of When You Don't See Me which was a german release only that had bootleg tracks on the B side. Can't remember what was on it off hand, think it was Ribbons and Something Fast from one of the 1990 gigs.

I don't think there were any Reptile House only releases.

It's the Dr Jeep 12" (ltd to 6000) that has the 2 bootleg tracks 1) Burn (Bremen 1984) 2) Amphetamine Logic (Bremen 1985) on it CellThree :) ... the live tracks on WYDSM 12" and CD-single were recorded 'officially' btw. (also see Vision Thing remastered) ...or was it Visioin Thing. :lol:

The CD and 12" release include an extended version of Dr Jeep. All standard releases Knockin' on Heaven's Door as a b-side. The limited edition 12" single had Burn and Amphetamine Logic and includes a poster of the cover.

Released on Elektra Records in 1990 to promote the US stage of the Tour Thing tour and Vision Thing. CD has back cover but no front cover.
