MacHeartland VI - Dec. 30th

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hope Uncle Jam-es doesn't mind me starting the thread for this.

Looks like the Griffin / Griffiny / Griffinette / Griffinola / Griffinarama again this year, a fine choice I think if last year was anything to go by, now who's coming?

A definite yes for me and Blast, I'm guessing Keef and Magrit are coming down... Who else?

I'll be in the land of the weegie early doors, what time we meeting?
Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

Thank you Claire for kicking off the MacHeartland Invade Belgium 07 thread, but the Griff meet on 30/12/06 is only MacHeartland VI.

I've just went and made you feel bad now, haven't I? I really didn't mean to...

Ooh yes it seems it bloody IS/IZ  :notworthy:

OTOH, they have to; Vision and I were mad enough to go to Leeds on the first HL do, when this was looked upon as sheer madness, by the way.

Nowadays people fly over from as far as Sarf Africa and Estonia and it all seems normal.

The only one that's OBLIGED to come over is Barry, of course... And he can bring his wife too. And Francis! And PiB! And JansenClone! CellThree! SIMON!

All come over, let's have a big parteeh!

;D

That's right Iz, have a good old PLUG in my thread! :P

We should have a seperate thread for it, otherwise you might just get the Jocks. And that would never do!

A quick pint and a bite to eat in the vicinity of Queen Street at lunch time is the best I can offer for the 30th I'm afraid. :(

One day I really will make it to one of these shindigs!

Update:

Don, Steven and myself will be meeting up for a leetle lite lunch (and possibly pre-bevvy bevvies, or is that just me? :innocent: ) at the 13th Note first... Don's catching his train up North(er) at 2.30.
Anyone else who wants to join us is welcome to do so :)

Any ideas for a Griff (or pre-Griff) time?

I may be up for that! The 13th Note (as I know it) is pretty far from the Queen Street area. But if I remember correctly, there are more than one of these 13th Notes, so can you clarify exactly which?
