For those of you who don't know, Slimelight is a famous goth/industrial club in London, one of the largest and certainly the most regular and long running.
For those of you who have been I am curious; lets face it, the place a a pretty mixed reputation, those that love it, love it. Some don't like the idea of contracting an STI just because they went to the loo.
I was there for my second time on saturday (after D+B new years, was anyone there?) I personally enjoyed it a lot, the trad goth floor played all the classics and was so full of smoke even the clumsiest goon looked like pure grace. Towards the end the middle floor were playing a great mix of industrial, goth and ebm (I had a wonderful dance to headhunter at 6am!)
Overall: A bit of a scummy dive, but its weekly, it runs till the first train, and plays enough good music to justify its existance, *thumbs up*
Thats mine, but what are your opinions?
Slimesh*te?

Either one of the mods REALLY hates it, or the filtering system has gone do-lally. Can it be fixed?

we like to mix it up a bit, and we tend to play to the crowd too, so if its a particularly gothy crowd we will stick to more trad goth stuff, and likewise if its a ebm crowd, but then if its a bit of a party atmosphere we will tend to go a little bit off-the-wall... like new years eve
my fave nights are the ones where the crowd is up for lots of 80s goff, 70s NYC punk, & 90s alt dance sillyness

Went to Dead and Buried New Years party, they played Baggy Trousers by Maddness.
It wasn't that that was funny, it was watching a man in pointy pointy booties trying to skank!

Pants!
I can usually be found asleep on the sofas upstairs or trying to keep the door of the toilet closed (when there actually is a door) with my foot.
