East Europe countries are not uniform. I mean different economies, histories, cultural traditions (not talk about languages). Estonia has been under German cultural influences since 13th century and was independent state first time 1918-1940. But one thing which may be (but I may be mistaken) characteristic to all so called East Europe countries - maybe there's too much being nervous in our societies. Even if changes are good ones they still give such a result.
