work food

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Lunchbox.

The amount that the food shops round here charge, you'd need a second mortgage for a sandwich.

My lunchbox - self made - consists of whole wheat pasta, olives, cherry tomatoes and yoghurt dressing (at least, that's what it says on the bottle), I'll take that over junk food any day (can cook, will cook).

It's just occurred to me that someone with a badly dirty mind could misconstrue the choices offered here. :innocent:

Lunchbox for me...er ... aluminium foil at least.

And self-made of course. I'm a cheese-freak and the missus is a meat-freak (NO people please keep it clean ;D), so I make my own bokes, thank you.

Most of the times my slices-o-bread contain cheese, chicken or turkey. I'm not that fond of red meat...

I certainly would hope you're not referring to Mc Do when talking about 'fresh air'... ;D

Most definitely not! :urff:
I'd prefer to eat a plate of lice.

I nip to the shop at the end of the road.....makin my own sarnies or whatever would save me a small fortune but I'm idle and would rather spend the 15 mins it would take each morning, in my pit.

Plus I can have a ciggie ;)

I used to be an eat-out kind of girl but then I realised how much it was costing a month (on average £4 a day on sarnies and drink was about £80!) I now go to the glorious food emporium known as Budgens and buy those Covent Garden soups that come in a little carton as they have been 3 for 2 for ages, and so has orange juice.

I took my old sandwich toaster into work so sometimes I have a toasted cheese sandwich.

Usually I just buy a fresh smos at school, not bad :notworthy: (that's a baguette with salad, tomato, egg, mayonnaise etc +cheese/ham/ham&cheese/...)

Or a Martino is good too :notworthy: (though theirs aren't - it's préparé (chopped steak with cream and egg through it more or les) with all sorts of stuff on it and a special sauce, Belgian lunch classic, absolute must taste!))

Never heard of that, what's in it? So that's three things to try for lunch: Martino, Smos and Clos Lowie (whatever that is ).

Is it something like a vettigen drets special?
