Beckham's Off!
He's leaving Real Madrid to go to LA Galaxy for a reported £128 Million , that's a lot of Sarongs
Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

He's going to earn £128 million
Bloody hell, he's not even that good a footie player anymore.
Still, it'll keep Posh in boob jobs for a while, and maybe he can afford to buy her a Big Mac or two....

apparently the american footy fans are pleased because he's gone before the end of his career, he's going to appeal to lots of people, speaks a bit of spanish to bring in some of teh hispanic fans who support la liga not the home teams.. they think it'll be great for their game.

Unless I've jettisoned back to 2001, does anyone outside of Beckham's family home actually care about his 'career' anymore? The man was bought as a cash cow for Real Madrid, bums on seats for the ladies and shirts for the kids and dads. He tried to become a product placement for a generation.
When Pepsi stepped in and marketed him - he was a global phenomenon. But who can forget the Brylcream contract? He was marketing a hair product so what does he do - shave his head!! The man is a moron - surrounded by a very good P.R company milking him for tons of cash. From fizzy drinks to sunglasses and from razor blades to his own 'perfume' the man who would be king soon became a franchise whore for all to see. And his football soon took a back seat. His wife caused his departure from Manchester United and influenced his move to Los Angeles. Would a man, who wants to be still regarded as a footballing icon for his sporting prowess actually move to a wilderness like Los Angeles of his own accord? The man is a shell, manipulated into a cartoon character by his wife, agent, accountant and the media and this is how he will be remembered. Not as the man who lifted Domestic and European silver wear with Man United and the man who could of led England to World Cup glory. But as the man who sold his soul for a quick buck - The man who when he stood down as England captain too late then whinged when he was 'dropped' by McClaren.
I stayed behind to watch Beckham lift the Premier title at Goodison knowing this would be the last time I would see him again on English soil in a domestic shirt. And he looked happy that day - just where and why did it all go wrong David? It was the day you met Posh Spice.

Troo dat. Moving to LA is an admission that his football career is over.Ramone wrote:His wife caused his departure from Manchester United and influenced his move to Los Angeles. David Beckham ran his bloody socks off in the Nou Camp in a certain reasonably high profile game, and practically won the game with his drive and never-give-in attitude. For that reason he'll always have my respect. Even if he's a nob (which, clearly, he is). He probably thinks he's following in the footsteps of Bestie by heading for Amerika. I assume that means he's gonna be p1ssed up 24/7 and nob loads of quality blart!
