Lets make a fav. movie thread;)

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The choice is simple: This Is Spinal Tap

OK, there are other favourites, but this should be near the top of every list.

Hmm, can we please streamline this to one film per person?
Long lists make me switch off.

My fave is Mad Max 2

Why? I don't know.

Surely if you want to complain, a better place is in feedback or indeed on those threads that are more truelly worthless than this. Alternatively, you might post something?
and who the f**k died and left you in charge? i happen to feel that favourite movie/band/record/colour/my little pony/vegetable/allergy threads are an utter waste of bandwidth. i feel that given the thread's title my comment was perfectly valid in this context.

now, what's your problem with free speech?

A japanese film (not anim) set in a not too distant future where parents have passed laws due to kids being too violent.

A class full of kids is sent off to an desserted island to battle it out until only one survives, kinda in a big brother reality TV sort of way. Only the last survivor will be let of the island and they have to knock off everyone else in a certain amount of time or they all die.

Oh, and they get given random weapons.

It was kinda cool.
