Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Whle I will always maintain openly REVERN'D about Brother Blasts kindness and generosity, I'd also have to 'blame' him for me turning up here and getting the most warm reception ever (if only IZ hadn't found out about that band I was in at the time I joined...). HL is a tight knit community and even though we might not like one another's views or personalities, there is still a great sense of the ties that bind us. If you want to call me a hippie assh*le, be my guest, you'd probably mistake me for someone who actualy cares, but I always felt welcome here and the HL community thriving and that's what matters...

More has come out of this place for me than I've put in. I hope I've made some lifelong friends, I'm not sure 'cuz I've not died yet. I'll be selfish, and say immediately, the MacHeartlanders have been the greatest bunch of drink-soaking I mean generous and social people I've ever met over the internet. You're all very important to me. After the Leeds crowd. ;D

Odds on no-one dares mention this at the next HL Gathering. :wink:
