Maybe, just maybe with the likes of Gary Numan and Killing Joke reappearing in the charts (and TOTP in GN's case for Chrissake!) it will mean The Sisters will get a record deal. Then we'll get some relief from the dirge that is the charts these days. But perhaps I shouldn't try to get people's and my hopes up.
Just a thought.
Some flotsam to cling to.
I think the delay isn't down to lack of music industry interest, it's due to the industry not wanting to put it's money where it's mouth is. Trend-making has very much become trend-following. A lot of the pop music around now is based on a very old (in marketing terms) nineties formula - girl bands and boy bands for 12-year olds, where each member has a 'very distinctive' persona (think Scooby Gang), and, for our 'rebellious' 12-year-olds, we have two brands. The first is the Alanis-Clone (Misses Lavigne, Studt, Apple, etc), and the other is the Rage Agains the Machine-Lite of nu-'metal'. All you can hope is that some of the wee boys into the latter bother to branch out into the less manufactured versions of rock. Who knows. I HAVE seen wee boys in Sisters shirts...

Gary Numans last album was mint. Best thing he's done for ages. Very dark and very heavy.
Hell is other people
