Most of these songs are taken from movies / t.v shows, so the mood had been set and the song was part of the atmosphere of that scene( hey is that enough waffle to hide the fact I get taken in like our female counterparts)

Theme from Titanic ( Just the pan pipes): By that ugly Canadian broad whose name if forget.

Kate Bush : The man with child in his eyes (personal reasons)

The Smiths : There's a light that will never go out ( R.I.P Lil' Ian)

Michelle Branch : Always right here.

Royal Albert Hall : The Sisters of Mercy: Sister Ray ( when the house lights went up and everyone just looked..distraught)

The m*****n : Blood Brother/ Tower of Strength( Written by Wayne for Stoko, Ramone and the Eskimos.. the best days of my life)

The m*****n : Butterfly on a wheel (One of their most underrated tunes)


The list goes on but I'm starting to feel the sudden urge to watch Desperate Housewives and Celebrity Big Brother and to deep facial cleanse... help!!

Have been thinking a bit more about songs that put a tear in IZs eye:

Tiamat - Atlantis as a lover

Anathema - J'ai Fait Une Promesse

Edge of Sanity - When All is Said (or how Death Metal can sound like a funeral-fit ballad :cry:)

Katatonia - almost everything, but particularly "Sweet Nurse"...such bleak, desolate lyrics...

Linkin Park - Crawlin' (for personal reasons, these guys have good music but really awesome lyrics as well)

My Dying Bride - Sear Me

...and a gazillion others...

Oh and this might not be politically correct an' all, but our song Dawn Over Dachau gives me the willies and wets my eyes every time again, especially with the video images that accompany it...

It definately does the trick for me ...

Now that I think of it ... that's the only song I have of this band. Any suggestions where I can find more ?
