secret Skeletal family gig with ex oasis / Smiths

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Skeletal Family secret live appearance in Keighley will be on Thursday 24th July 2003, 8.00pm, and will double as warm up gig for ex Oasis Bonehead and Smiths Mike Joyce's new band.

The gig will not be formally advertised, a small amount of tickets will be made available at a to be specified Keighley outlet . Venue is only 200 capacity .

Tickets are only £5 & Skeletals are onstage around 9pm .(don`t know whether they`re headlining or supporting)
Due to Anne Marie being all happy families (and Katrina being a bit wierd) the band have got a new singer - Claire .
Rest of band is orig line up .

I have to disagree, they were terrible and the gig was probably the worst one I attended that year. Not a patch on the reformed Lorrys or 3 Johns who played around the same time.

Each to their own . Other than the whole no Anne Marie suprise everyone I talked to thought they were great . I was a big fan the first time round & saw them quite a few times so I was disappointed that AM wasn`t there BUT looking from a wider perspective the band as a whole were good .
Obviously they had to alter the set a bit to fit in with Katrina , maybe with Claire singing they will drop most of the later stuff & play more from the Anne Marie era .

I saw the Lorries reunion gig also . I enjoyed them but you could hardly say they blew the roof off .They stood perfectly still , hardly muttered a word & they even had to stop one song because he`d forgotten how it went , and if we`re talking original line ups ..ahem .

wish I`d seen the three johns gig though .
