Songs that have a ... effect on you.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

 More songs that have an effect on me:

Scorpions, Still Loving You & Holliday & Wind Of Change
Elend, anything by them

The effect is that these songs make me want to throw up..

The Zoo is a damn fine piece of rock, I don't really mind the Scorps.

I still have a World Wide Live cassette tape here that I play quite often...

"Still loving you" and "Winds of Change" are commercial ballads, but "Rock you Like A Hurricane" for ex. is a nice stomping stadium rock song!

That's a good 'un. Pity the rest of that LP is a bit iffy. The live version of Hexonxonx on The Greater Wrong DVD is a good enjoyable romp too.

Ummmm....

Hawkwind - Assault and Battery.

Never fails to get me butt moving.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Ahaha! Now there's something that has a highly questionable "effect" on me.

Just stick on "Wake Up Dead" or "Peace Sells" in my vicinity and witness. You won't WANT to watch, but you won't be able to look away...

Listening to our local fm station last night, they have an excellent 3 hour show, which always gives goiod noise on the way to the chinese takeaway...

Last night it was Everybody's On Top of the Pops by the Rezzillo's, No More Heroes by the Stranglers, followed by California Uber Alles by the Dead Kennedys. (sorry if I got exact titles wrong).

I defy anyone not to smile like a numpty after that trio... :D
I'm still grinning 14 hours later. :D
