Flicking through one of Jenzis MP3 dvd's this weekend, I was listening to the above gigs from 2 different sources. One is an audience recording of the entire gig & one was MX quality but only contained a few tracks.
Does an entire MX recording of the gig exist?

Not to my knowledge I have the gig as complete audience recording and a part mixing desk so I suspect there is a complete gig recording butis probably in Vons archive.Spiggy's hat wrote:Flicking through one of Jenzis MP3 dvd's this weekend, I was listening to the above gigs from 2 different sources. I don't know if it's the vinyl version or not, but the following versions are on *** jenzi-benzi data collection DVD #2 *** in the weeding section. The middle version (titled bootleg) is the partial gig, which certainly sounds like it's from the mixing desk.taylor wrote:I got the Ian Mc Donald M1 version and it's full lenght audience

Yeah it's the vinyl version that's only half the gig, and good quality.
It sounds like mx but taylor says it isn't. He's probably right. A lot of the Sisters recordings that get labelled as mx are just good audience recordings.

A lot of times mx recordings aren't that good to begin with.
