"Lordy, at my age I could outrun you in a marathon.....I could drink you under the table....I could put more drugs up my nose.......and I can pull more and better looking girls/boys than you, and I know what to do with them.......I may have a big nose but I ain't ugly like you........and I don't wear a big silly hat....anymore......
And MGT does have a very valid point... And I'm sure Rich and Springy would agree.....If that is how you see us then why don't just f**k off and don't bother coming to our shows anymore and go and pay £50 to see SOM everytime they play and then moan about how crap they are and you're never gonna go again...until the next time......I bet you never moan that the 'Dritch uses 'session musicians'......
Wanker...."

You'd think he'd have remembered its The Sisters Of Mercy & not just 'SOM.'

anyway, i'd prefer Von and Wayne to p*ss each other off no more
Well yeah.Eden wrote:Is it me or is everyone always talking sh*t on Wayne, the man wrote the music for Marian come on!
It's unfortunate, but the man does seem to have a foot-sized hole where his mouth should be, particularly when it comes to making a public ass of himself lately with some of his comments about the Sisters. He seems to give the impression that his sole reason to exist nowadays is to maintain some kind of competition with his former band, which is really pretty sad when you think about it. Especially as he is capable of so much more and so much better, and has demonstrated so on more than one occasion in the past (music to Marian, and pretty much all of side 1 of FALAA, music to some of the early m*****n tracks, even, but unforgiveable crimes such as the lyrics to Bridges Burning do also exist).
For his latest outburst, I hereby nominate Wayne for the first ever Dougal Award:
"God Ted, I must be a right eejit"
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Part of me wants to laugh and part of me wants to cry.
See this is what happens when daddy isn't an abusive bastard, you become a spoiled brat Wayne, for all his uppityness is trying to give them what they deserve, a little bit of time. But then again, I don't think he's taking the whole thing in context, they are just having a laugh, they assume that their obvious love for the mish will cancel out any harsh words, obviously Wayne is in a bad mood.
@ ormfdmrush
I don't think hes interested in talking about the split, I saw that he choose to pass your question over, shame, because I would have liked to see his answer. I did hear on an interview last year (on the batcave) that he and Eldritch have met a few times, and there is no hate and no feud, just indifference.

I am guilty of this VERY often. I understand where the old man is coming from.whilst I think the internet is a brilliant means of communication, I do think that sometimes words can be written by somebody with a smile on their face but that smile doesn't come across when you see the words on the screen......hence the mis-reading.......and I do love an arguement once I get going.......

for someone who has flirted with genius he doesn't come across at all well does he?
I think some of his music/lyrics are really great. And it's good he talks to his fans I guess.
So Wayne, can I have a free ticket to yer next gig?
