THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

well, i thought it is not polite to sell Sisters' DVD and CD bootlegs, especially from the recent concerts :innocent:
also because we are brave heartlanders and can always copy bootlegs for each other
vinyl is probably an exception, because we cannot copy vinyl and it is always kinda piece of art
am i wrong?

eBay's policy on bootlegs.

Copyright holders can specifically ask eBay to cancel listing that they feel breach their copyright.

Speaking from experience - I was once threatened with "federal prosecution" by AOL Time Warner...

If I would discover my own non-commercial released sisters stuff on eBay, I would instantly "fakebuy" it, so I can leave a nice feedback ;D

You can just inform ebay, and let them take care of it. But everybody who has made a halfway decent recording of a show and trades/weeds/shares it risks that it ends up on ebay. Especially if it has been on Dimeadozen (spelling?) first... :|

Tried that once i a while, but eBay wasn't able to do more than sending some system generated "thanks" mails. Maybe, it's not always possible to control such a big "playground" right in time.
