well, i thought it is not polite to sell Sisters' DVD and CD bootlegs, especially from the recent concertsBadass wrote:Yes, the painting is nice.
Whats wrong about the bootleg policy? Maybe a naive question, but i dont know much about bootleg policy...
also because we are brave heartlanders and can always copy bootlegs for each other
vinyl is probably an exception, because we cannot copy vinyl and it is always kinda piece of art
am i wrong?

eBay's policy on bootlegs.
Copyright holders can specifically ask eBay to cancel listing that they feel breach their copyright.
Speaking from experience - I was once threatened with "federal prosecution" by AOL Time Warner...

So I am sad that I dont know Von's Email, because I cannot inform him about this copyright-rippoff
You can just inform ebay, and let them take care of it. But everybody who has made a halfway decent recording of a show and trades/weeds/shares it risks that it ends up on ebay. Especially if it has been on Dimeadozen (spelling?) first...
You can't fix stupid.
Tried that once i a while, but eBay wasn't able to do more than sending some system generated "thanks" mails. Maybe, it's not always possible to control such a big "playground" right in time.Eva wrote:You can just inform ebay, and let them take care of it. ..if nobody buys such bootlegs, no one can make money out of it.
