Blue Monday selling Mars bars..
Mmm, I've always thought it was sensationalised by the Tabloid's. Shaun was quoted as smoking 50 rocks a day, he said nonsense.......it was 25!Planet Dave wrote:All well and good and accurate Si, but the Mondays spunking it all in the Windies is a far funnier story. And it'd have been money well spent (unless you're in New Order), as Yes Please! is a stonking album, sales or no.
Forgot to mention if they'd had a long term deal policy earlier then James and OMD would most likely have stayed and made them a few quid. And Guru Josh in 1989 when House music kicked off (but apparently he was extremely homophobic (and a mysoginist-racist?) which is why he soon disappeared as he lost all his record buying audience in 1990).

Jurassic Shift was my first and still most favourite. I bought the audio cassette copy with the limited Hemp pressing when it was released. Dunno what happened to it, think my younger brother swiped it along with my Pungent Effulgent tape.Hom_Corleone wrote:A quality outfit.
