goths and football - a question for ramone

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Ramone wrote:Ahhh, indeed a good question, Mr Quiffage. And as a 'staunch' Evertonian of many years now, I have had to suffer the slings and arrows of our 'cousins' from across the Park at Anfield. And one of these many hours of tedium we have had to suffer has been the celebrity fan base that Liverpool possesses. From Jimmy Tarbuck and Stan Boardman (Both homegrown salt of the earth types - so I'm told) through to Zoe Ball (Now a Man Utd fan) and That Guitarist - Born and bred in Bristol, making him an ideal candidate to wear the red of Liverpool.

But the allegiances of others has never been a bone of contention with Everton fans, we leave that petty narrow minded approach to the red half (?) of Liverpool.

As you pointed out Eldritch was and maybe still is a Red Devil ( And has probably been to Old Trafford as many times as the entire Bangkok arm of the supporters club). Craig , a proud Yorkshire man who stood on the terraces at Elland Road and Mr Lovelock who I have to admit has a fine shot on him ( as he blasted a few shots past me one time) sought grab some fo the impending fame and fortune and jump on the band wagon that was Liverpool F.C back in the 1970's.( He made a habit of doing that it seems!) So how could I like a band made up of so many elements and then choose to follow the 'wrong' team when the Sisters broke up? - Easy,The Sisterhood ( the Mish) actually made music I liked. The other Sisterhood -, were pants!

Like most teams in the league, Everton fans prefer to spend their time actually watching the game and take immense pleasure listening to fans of
'the Big Four' - bicker, moan, whinge and complain endlessly when the supposedly 'smaller clubs' play them and ..dare I say it..have the nerve to not lie down and curl up in a ball, but actually .... win!!
good call, sir  :notworthy:

Yeah (well no, not really, but anyway), we also have a sense of humour. I always p*ss myself when we win with a 90th minute penalty awarded after Ronaldo goes flying arse over tit in acres of space.

I've always found Evertonians to be a sorted, knowledgable and generally sensible bunch, though it can't be hard when compared directly to the mongs across Stanley Park.

..going off topic ever so slightly, and some of the ladies ( and that includes you Maisey!!) will hate me for carrying on this thread, But just what was that performance last night by England against the 'mighty' Spanish!! ?

Ok, some of the 'regular' players were *injured* and it was not the first choice 11, but like the world cup proved some times we have to fall back on Plan B and even Plan C. And if this is the lack luster spineless bunch of mongs ( nice one Planet Dave - the spirit of Joey Deacon lives on :D ) then we will have to soon get used to the sight of all the car flags and media hype being cut short when England fall at the first hurdle - ho hum.

England's under achieving and arrogance in thinking they should be more than what they really are can be summed up in two words.. Frank Lampard.

I didn't film the fcukin' thing. :innocent:
I don't know why, but I laughed so hard when I read that.

Anyways, besides Motz, doesn't anyone else find it odd that a 16 year old can legally consent to sex but not porn?
