A long time lurker posts his first message...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just a quick post to say hello. I'm a long time lurker (sorry!) and thought I would post a message to intorduce myself and say thankyou for prioviding such an informative and entertaining site.

It is certainly a lot friendler than any of the other message boards I post on!

For all the off-topic posts happening here, there are still more on-topic posts than many hyper-active bands get. Either that says something about the appeal of the various incarnations of the Sisters or it displays something deep seated in us.

The growth of this place does seem to correlate somehow or other to the band. Strongly and negatively I feel (if I'm rememberin' me correlation graphs right).
