Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I thought I was getting the actual release, but looking into "CNT" I have just figured its actually some compilation of material. As the seller makes no reference to the fact that this has anything other than sisters material on it, am I within my rights to ask for a refund? I paid for it today, so it won't have been posted yet. I thought the miners strike thing was only a 12", but this is 7".
'They Shall Not Pass' was the CNT sampler but that was an LP, I haven't heard of a 7" doesn't meant there wasn't one tho.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure there's a Primary (Portugese presing) bootleg in a poster sleeve, with the same coverart as the Damage Done Primary bootleg (but with pink lines instead of blue). Though if they said it was CNT, it was probably the real thing.
From the description that you quote I would say it sounds like the genuine 7" but like mh said, I would have wanted to see a photo before bidding, if only to see the condition that it's in. I buy quite a lot of vinyl off ebay and description's vary wildly so 'great condition' could mean anything really.
I would wait until it's in your possession before asking for a refund. If it's been kept in a pvc sleeve since it was bought and looked after (like 'real fan's' tend to do with such releases) then it should be ok. Never know, you could've got a bargain
be quite : there was only a bootleg of B.E and it's easy reconable as got custom white label with black text and was featured in a double pack with repress of DD pressed from "12 track records" in Usa in group ps

Can anyone tell me what I have actually bought?
What tracks are on it? From your description you make it sound like a 7" compilation that includes Body Electric, which might make it more rare than the real thing as I've never heard of it.

I think that's what I meant.

My assumtion was that the real thing was MR. It was £35 inc P&P
Body Electric wasn't pressed with MR, due to the fact that the band couldn't afford it, so they got it released on CNT. As I believe most Sisters bios and sites state. You need to do more research, dear Maisey.

That thar be Melkor casting his showdow over the eyes of Hurin, turning all good deeds to ill in his perception, as he sits, enthroned and bound on a chair of stone high up on the peaks of Thangorodrim

*ahem*
I think there's a chance that BoF may have a few of their CDs too...
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.
