Does anyone know how many complete recorded versions of this gig there are ?
I'm as rare as a wombats wingnut!
one complete audio recording (about 99 minutes), one incomplete audio recording ("visions at the forum") and another incomplete audio recording (video soundtrack, 82 minutes). it's all i know.
long live rock'n'roll
I have a complete tape that I picked up not long after the event, I've always assumed there are complete recordings that sourced both Friday 13th & Visions (am sure they are different recordings) but don't believe they are in circulation :/
"friday the 13th" miss intro, kiss the carpet and comfortably numb to fit all in one cd but it isn't the same source recording as the complete audio one in the wide circulation?

Not to my ears - when I did this I spent a while listening to both and they sound different to melachert wrote:"friday the 13th" miss intro, kiss the carpet and comfortably numb to fit all in one cd but it isn't the same source recording as the complete audio one in the wide circulation?

Yeah, those have the same recording.
i have a complete recording that's combined from the two different bootlegs sources, and the result is pretty good, though the sound in Friday the 13th is slightly better than the songs taken from Event Horizon, still i don't notice the difference while listening. i don't like the fact that they used limiters on Event Horizon recording.
Now who has the complete source that was used for Friday the 13th, surely all the tracks were recorded?
And czuzu: the complete tape you have, is it yet a third audio recording, or is it the video track?

Audio, full set - bought it at Camden so probably a couple of gens away from the actual master...itnAklipse wrote:Yeah, those have the same recording.

Found a version, while sorting my cds out. Had it listed as "visions at the forum" but its the full gig??? its on cdrs
CD1 ends where von screams at the end of temple of love. Cd2 starts around the same point, so its not been well edited. Could be where the tapes been flipped.
Sound wise its ok, different to the ones been offered on her.
Cant remember where i got it from.

I have (what looks like) a full recording of the Forum concert, it's good quality but I'm not sure if it's from the 12th or the 13th
At the beginning of Dominion Andrew says "This is a song about the mainland, you wouldn't understand."
Anyone know whether that's the 12th or 13th?

robert: Memory serves it's clearly from 13th. It's also easy to recognise otherwise as 13th started with Kiss the Carpet and 12th with FALAA.

I've seen the real one on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Well worth a look if you're interested in trains.paint it black wrote:i now have a rather nice sir nigel gresley instead
