In an ideal world......

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

In an ideal world......The Sisters would release something of this quality

Image

Can you imagine? FALAA, Floodland and Vision Thing performed in their entirety, complete with correct lineups for each album.

In fact, drop Vision Thing and bung in Some Girls first.

Anybody got this Cure Trilogy DVD? The picture and sound quality are absolutely stunning. Probably the best music DVD I own. :notworthy: :notworthy:

you're dreaming....
Hell I'm dreaming if I thought Mr.E would ever get off his arse and release something of this quality, never mind lineups :|

Actually I'd settle for the current lineup, they rock quite a bit. I could do without Widow Twanky in her purple suede jacket. Would love to see Gary Marx though.

The Cure live were always very impressive musically (i.e. technique etc, excepting for poor Lol), I think. Can't think that the same idea would work for some other bands whose sound has often been much dirtier and rougher around the edges. Mentioning no names.
