Philipshalle, Duesseldorf

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I have a VHS copy of a Philipshalle gig from either 1990 or 1991. Unfortunately I can't share it.
It's pretty good quality for a cam-shot video. The audio is pretty good as well.

Can't help you with Curve bootlegs, there aren't that many around as far as I know.

Lots of Curve on Dime recently, a much-missed band ;)
The best ones are the US recordings from 93 & 98 - the early gigs are average recordings at best.
Look for:
28th November 1993 Satryricon Nightclub, Portland, Oregon
8th April 1998 Slim's 333, San Francisco

Those are RockPalast shows? The Mish played there twice when it was filmed. TFF did the same in 1983 I believe.

Cleveland 29th October 1992 is also circulating, I used to have a pro VHS of an Astoria TV appearance and an audience Portsmouth 91 VHS but they're long gone now :(
Their v early Slough festival gig (with drum machine but no drummer..) also exists but I don't have that either :/
Anyone got decent rips of the vinyl only live Bsides from the Fait 12"? :innocent:

i've got those 2 shows on one DVD, so i thought that Sisters' gigs could be filmed or even aired, too
but i've got no information, so i've started the topic
regarding TFF, i've watched few clips from that concert on YouTube, so decided to look for DVD
their early stuff is the best

According to the RockPalast archive they never filmed a concert of the sissies.
No shade of anything can make a good summer over here.
