Question...DVD

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Copies of Wake appear from time to time in Weeding and Sharing, but it's not exactly the most interesting or exciting performance.

Moscow Thing would probably be the current Gold Medal holder.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Miami 1991 is one of the best. A true classic performance. 8)

Fav is Gent 91 - the close one filmed from the side-balcony rather than the long range one filmed from the back :)

& Forum 13/2/98 is also cool, if sadly incomplete

Can't go wrong with any of the above (not that we'd know about the balcony-shot Gent vid, Stu, yet  ), I'd add Forum 03 (first night) to the list. 8)

Yup, Forum 03 and Miami 91.

According to Robin, there's a third angle which I've never managed to track down..
I'll get around to sorting this one out in the end.
It is, after all, the best gig the Sissies ever played! Ever! Better, in fact, than any gig by any band!

Now there's somethign I'd like to get my hands on. Does anyone know if the Wembley Arena gigs ever made it onto audio boot or DVD?
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

Go check the weeding section and all will be revealed. 8)

London 2006? :) i'm biased, i know. And fanatic. Sorry. And i haven't seen the Moscow video yet.

Essen and Vienna 1993 are also great.

All of them are.

Except unfortunately most of the 80s videos.

Oh aye, Vienna 93 is a stonker alright! Add that to your ever growing list Mr Cock.

Not seen Essen 93 :innocent:  so couldn't comment, though I have to disagree on the London 06 dvd. The voice is so fckd it brings the rest of the recording down with it, to my mind. Just one mans opinion.

Have you not got Vienna from the weeding section? Not the best copy, admittedly, seeing as it was a transfer from my creaky old vid, but pretty fine nonetheless.
