"Oi! This is England!"

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Just back from the GFT Glasgow Film Festival showing of Shane Meadows' new film "This is England", and have to say this is the film of 2007.

If you get a chance to go and see it, then do not miss it!

You'd be amazed how many people there are in Minehead that actually look like the people in that photo.

Shane Meadows = Genius :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

I'll be catching it at some point, that's for sure.

"Once Upon A Time In The Midlands" was fantastic and "Dead Man's Shoes" was a brutal, yet still funny at times, revelation. The drug scene was just inspired and the parts in "the building" are crushing.

So yeah, count me in on this one.....

Oh yeah, and don't forget "Northern Soul" - one of the funniest shorts I've seen in years. The whole wrestling payoff is just comedy gold.....

His wrestling name - “The Albino Salamander

His special wrestling moves - “The Checkerboard" and "How d’ya like them apples?

Estimated time until champion - “One year

Why yes, yes they are. I happen to have 2 pairs - black and cherry. Wanted the 20-eyes, but I couldn't find 'em in black patent...so I had to settle for Gripfasts, instead. \m/  :von:
