Walken as Osbourne

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The rumours – which started third hand, so this is saying something – about Christopher Walken playing Ozzy Osbourne in the upcoming Motley Crue biopic “The Dirt are true…. Or so it seems.

Ex-Crue member (now ringleader of the lacklustre ‘Supernova’ outfit) Tommy Lee told Melbourne’s The Herald Sun that Director Larry Charles (“Borat) has indeed signed the tap-dancing maniac to play wild Ozzy in the movie.

I’m intrigued. Chris Walken as Ozzy Osbourne? Now that’s kinda cool. It’ll be more amusing than anything, but I think I like it. Granted, you probably could’ve gotten an actor that looked a little more (and probably sounds a little more) like the bat-eating musician… but this’ll do fine.

Lee told the paper that the film is still in the early stages.

cheers to moviehole

Obvious question, :von: The Movie: who would star?

Is Sean Penn too intense to play Hussey?

I can only think of one short-arsed, scarily intense, ageing rockstar wannabe bubbling over with revulsion at the life on this planet to play the part of Andrew...

What a terrifying idea, a Sisters movie. NoNoNo. :urff:

Surely we all want the director to be Tim Burton, Johnny Depp plays Andrew, Alan Rickman is Wayne and Patsy is played by Helena Bonham Carter. Don't we? It would all be a little bit romantic and flowery gothic.

Or it's Scorsese and a hard-boiled Leo is playing Andrew, Matt Damon as Wayne and Scarlett Johansson as Patsy. The setting is of course the dirty streets of New York. I can see it as underdog social drama.

We could as well make it a catastrophe movie directed by Roland Emmerich: Jeff Goldblum as Andrew, Naomi Watts as Patsy and Godzilla as Wayne?
