Black Sheep - Leeds weekly goth night!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Black Sheep returns!

From Sunday 28th January 2007
7pm - 11pm
The Subculture, Wade Lane, Leeds.

Free Entry for the first five weeks!

Yes it's the return of the legendary Black Sheep/Sunday Club, which ran at the notorious Phono since the dawn of gothdom!

We're back for a five week run at the Subculture, starting on the 28th January and running all through February, with the hope that the venue will bring back Black Sheep permanently!

Come along and enjoy the original purveyors of "All shades of goth, past and present" and the night that spawned Friday Flock!

Black Sheep/Sunday Club: Possibly the oldest goth night in the world!

Hello!

Is that Paul & Donna from Crystal Entity?! Sally says Hi!!

Yeah, Black Sheep disappeared for a year but we're back to being every Sunday in the same place we used to host bands (although it's changed hands and they've redecorated a bit!!).

How are you two? How's the band?

Hi,

We're doing fine! Band included. We just finished our 3rd cd, so we're quite pleased with the result.

cheers and see you,
Paul Donna and our little daughter Nianne

basically, go to the bottom right corner of the merrion shopping center - there's a ramp leading up into the center itself. the door to the subculture is half way up that ramp (the club itself is under the shopping center) :)

That shopping centre (See? I spelled it correctly! :P) is actually pretty cool, though I preferred the nifty ones with the vaulted glass ceilings...

Most of them aren't American.
