I won´t miss them if they don´t come near here. The two or three good songs I know of them don`t justify the effort..

I misread that at first and thought Blast had been to a Cradle Of Filth show!
That would be a taste abberation extraordinaire from the man who is approx 33.3 (recurring) per cent responsible for turning me on to Shriekback.

Diamond Head???? What, do you think I spend all my time watching 80s bands like the Cult, Sisters, Laibach, Metallica, REM, etc?
Edit. Of course they're playing Rio's. Dumpy's Rusty Nuts too, just like being a student down the Duchess of York again.

I was just lamenting to a buddy of mine that if only these metal bands didn't *have* to employ their silly "death-grunt"-style vocals, there'd be so much more stuff that I could listen to! GRRRR!

For heavy music with proper singing, try out Life of Agony's album "Ugly".
And pop quiz hotshots - what links these two bands??

Hmmm. Ok, fair enough. Looks like I'm going to have to give them the benefit of the doubt, and listen to some more of their stuff, as I'm not familiar with much of it at all. But, while I like the overall sound of tunes like "Blood & Fire (the 'Out Of The Ashes' mix)" (especially because of the Sabbath/Deep Purple-esque keyboard sound), what's-his-face's melodramatic blabbing of pith in the middle of it put me right off.
Flame away! I can take it...
