Sisters in Seaside Rescue

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Did anyone else hear the opening instrumental part of "Gimme Shelter" (TSOM version) on Seaside Rescue the other night (Wednesday 21 Feb 2007, 8-9)?

Twice? About 3/4 of the way through the show?

I think it's repeated on Wednesday morning in Sign Zone at 01:45.

I just pictured a drunken Wayne Hussy hanging from a helicopter, throwing life preservers into the ocean. :urff:

Something's going on...I saw an episode of Seaside Rescue earlier this week, by accident, and without knowing of this thread.
On the ep. I saw, a clip was shown accompanied by the intro to 'Dominion', which segued into the middle eight. This went on into the beginnings of the next line of vocals.

I wonder who's in charge of choosing music for the programme? And, how do I get his job?

It was the Sisters - yay. I was very excitedly swooshing around my living room after the first few bars ...

I'm sure I heard a snippet from Siouxsie and the Banshees on another equally random TV programme the other day too.
