Gregorian more

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I've heard there are some North Koreans out there, unaware of most of the global events of the last 30 years due to massive state media suppression, who think that Gregorian More rocks...and rocks HARD

Well, it's a laugh, isn't it?

I'd give it a B-. 94% of the mark is awarded for the bits nicked straight from the original kick-ass song. The other 6% is awarded to the (frankly rather duff) male chanting and the Steve-Wright-Love-Songs piano ending. The mark could be improved by removing the latter elements.

Yes indeed - that is exactly it!!
One can't help but listen and giggle and listen and marvel at it... I just love the diction of the "I want more." It sounds like an English Lit teacher singing with a choir master...

Listen to the Gregorian "My Immortal"

This sappy teeny goth ballad is transformed into something quite lovely.

But I am slightly surprised that Engel (follows More) is still on there, the site hasn't been shut down and the site owners fined and/or imprisoned.

Maybe litigious Rammstein are starting to chill. :P

Or have switched proceedings and asked for the case to be heard in a Hamburg court. :innocent:
