... and for the folks who want to know about it more detailled:

Add the smell of leather, dry ice, cigarettes and vodka with red bull you might get the right odour...
... thank you for listening and on to the commercial break:

The Scent Of Eldritch...
Good one Orm!
Good poem Maisey!
Although a bit silly, it is exactly what we need here ... as we have no new album to discuss!

P.S.: What about 's Mom and Dad? Now there's a topic I haven't seen here yet!

The very same...
Such an innocent question, and so much irritation in some of the answers. I wonder why. Eldritch seems the type of person who definitely pays attention to smells, so assuming that he himself might not smell nice is very wrong, in my opinion.
Indeed : Andrew Eldritch doesn't smell AT ALL. He's the modern day Grenouille...

Well. Ahem. Good afternoon. Now that our dear friend Rush started this lovely thread, I think I can feel justified if I ask for a small favour here.
It's small, but for me it is of great importance.
The thing is, I know how new-mown grass smells, and I know how cornflakes in hot milk smell. I think I also know the smell of victory.
I don't know the ever-reigning Miss Detroit's smell, but that's not my business I guess, so let's leave it aside.
What I do not know is the smell of Pear's soap in hot water, and of Wright's Coal Tar soap in hot water. And I think I ought to know. Just out of curiosity, or just to be able to form an opinion of my own. Sadly, neither of these soaps seem to be available in my country. I could probably buy them online, but it seems ridiculous to set up a bank account (which I currently don't have) just to buy 2 bars of soap that cost less than one Pound each.
Hence my request. Is there anybody here who lives near a drug store that sells these soaps, and who would be kind enough to buy them, and send them to me? I'll accept the fact that I'm mad, and I'll gladly make up for the favour in one way or another, depending on what you'd like in return.
I'm absolutely, totally, 100% serious here. I need these 2 bars of soap, badly. I hope some good sould will send me a PM with an offer of trade.
Oh and, I must add, I think that Chris Catalyst's taste in smells is absolutely excellent. Tarmac, petrol, superglue
