Hawkwind Programme on BBC3

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Would like to see that if I had the chance. You Islanders may mock and spit at Auntie Beeb all you want, but over here it's still a benchmark for good TV (well, mostly; not saying all their programmes are awesome). As this docu proves once again...

Hey, I don't!

The BBC is one thing I do think we can be proud of.

Exception to the rule duly noted. Or are you biased because they broadcast 'Meerkat Manor' every Sunday? ;D

Just a real shame that Brock and Turner were not on the same show due to "legal" differences.

Brilliant!

but...

Terry Ollis was an arse who never really featured and where was the powerhouse called Simon King? It's not often I say good things about a drummer but. he was mighty important to The 'Wind.

cheers for the heads-up about this ~ watched the re-run on BBC4 and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the input from Uncle Lemmy :notworthy:
