The Duvel And The Damage Done...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I still remember shepherding you round Leeds city centre (with the help of a lace and fishnet-clad Debs, what a trio we must have looked! ) last summer. And your reaction when the ladies we asked directions from didn't have a clue where The Angel was... a loud bellowing of "Well, THAT'S not going to be very much good to us, is it?"

I don't think you can find Hoegaarden Grand Cru in the UK but you can definitely have a pint of regular Hoegaarden. That's a start. 8)

It may be "just beer" but it's pretty hefty !

It's quite a strong and distinctive taste on the first few mouthfuls - good stuff though :notworthy: :notworthy:

Nice to see y'all enjoying the Guid Stuff. We're at the Austrian border, enjoying the wonderful world of wlan to tell you that the missi-on to spread the Great Yellow Brew to Slovenia is going well. Making good time, will probably be in Ljubljana by 3am and found a me place to crash at the future owner of the crate of Kasteelbier. Had a nice stopover at Jümlaut's (great tea, man!). Will be taking off for the final leg in 30 mins. Will mail again when we've settled into our Ljubljana appartment (no James, it's no pyramid shaped ;D)...

Might I just add that your variant above and this one:

...have a different taste than the normal 33cl bottles.

Experts (that does NOT include me) told me that the Duvel on corked bottles sounds even better than the 33cl.

So jist open up and taste, there's more where that came from! ;D

:D I just found out that Duvel, a cloudless sunset and 16 Horsepower/Woven Hand are a combination that makes you wish time would stand still.
A combination that does no damage.

Only shlightly pished.

As it should be Herr Jumlaut, I'd have chosen some ARF! or the FGG versions of Afterhours and Hurt.
So be it, to each their own
