ARF, SMIRF, Duvel and Slovenia

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

if it's any recompense Wreckless, that image of Mick Fleetwood in all his B+W underpanted glory has scared the shit outta me for decades, I used to recoil physically when I stumbled upon it in album stacks, always in record shops never in friends' stacks I hasten to add :|

It's not just the underpantedness, it's the fact that there's a little kid hanging about that...area...*shudder* :urff: :urff: :urff:

I was looking forward to reading Raf's next Slovenian instalment when I opened this one but instead I get eveyone's depraved tastes - not to mention an image of Mick Fleetwood that's now burned into my brain forever :urff: Thanks everyone  Raf, how's the hangover?

I have more of a hangover reading about Claire's and Sinny's übermenschlike taste in men in this thread than from the beer over here. Slovenia is ma home away from home, soon to become my home, period. I simply thrive when I'm here. There's no doubt that I belong here, ARF or no. Will post more tomorrow because as I surmised, every night up until now is pretty much a Mini Mc Heartland Meet (jist wi less Duvel and NO cider ;))... ;D

Pffffft. My tastes are *hardly* depraved, sir. How does a penchant for tall, thin prettyboys = depravity? Really... *Shakes head* :P

Some tastes are post-modern, some are retro, yours is archeologic.

Decorated bones are what you like.
Handling notes for your dudes:
Do not go out when windy, do not allow him to walk over cattle grids or canal lids.
Keep away from dogs!

Nonono - *Claire* sweetie likes 'em skeletal. I need a bit o' meat on mine (but not much). What I didn't get was Raf's comment about our supposed "übermensch" tastes. Skinny boys hardly qualify as "übermensch"..?

According to the general Heartland effect, you just need the ticket and a few bucks for drinks, Sinnie.
And a Sinnie may get along on even less suplies.

AWWWWW! You're a sweetheart, dear Jumlaut! But Sinnies never take anything for granted, nor do they make assumptions, see... Sinnies don't like to impose or make nuisances of themselves, either (well, outside the confines of the forums, that is, hahaha!). ;D

I don´t take anything for granted, either. But without that effect Lier wouldn´t have been possible for me. It were Christophe an his mom who made it possible for me to go.
I must add that I didn´t know either of them before.
And as you are one of the first Heartlanders ever, I think there is a shipload of oldtimers around here that ache to get to know you in person as well.

I think there are few forums where the memebrs are that stupid to travel half of the world to have a strong beer together and see a silly soundtrack band.

We are starting to look like those Star Trek nerds... We even have our own Klingon, although it sounds a bit like Weegie.

Still, wouldn't have missed it for the world, not the first HL do, and DEFFO not the Belgian Invasion thingy! :notworthy:
