Rarest, most unknown Sisters songs?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

It's common as muck as far as I'm concerned. One of the first Sisters recordings I ever got some time in 1985/86. The version of Batman they did right before it (apparently featuring Hussey) was harder to get though.
Back in the day at a record fair I saw the full gig available. A shame I didn't get it.

Is that one on the 'Razor Smiles' 7inch vinyl? I have that one as well, indeed not that difficult to obtain...

Yeah, I've edited KOHD (from the vinyl I assume) into a slightly poorer quality recording of Batman, so there's both songs.

LMAO I just noticed at 0.36 someone says "Oh Jesus Christ!". I'd not noticed that before.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

I assume Hussey played guitar on both songs and Eldritch just appeared for KOHD.
Actually, what evidence do we have that Hussey was there at all?

:) I thought that might stir controvosey (however you spell that :? )

I have to conceed, you can rock with a drum machine, hats tipped to Mr Blast for reminding me who does (did  ) it oh so well. I'd say its easier to groove than rock. Although The various drums set to 11 industrial thingyummyies do put a dent in my argument. One could hardly argue KMFDM don't rock.

In fact, now I Inspect my argument, it has turned out to be utter bollox! :D

Would we say that Ghost Dance grooved or rocked? Sisters grooved, the Violets grooved, I'm not too Ghost Dance savey...

And no, I am not trying to catagorise bands... Before I get the obligitory "its not about what type of music it is, its whether you enjoy it". I know thankyou

Thanks muchly to Dan for that cool batman boot. Whats going on in ghostriders in the sky...?
