Alright, ya bastards, you've got plenty of notice now, so get yourselves down to Lincoln for a night of metal.
Lineup (subject to change):
• FearOfHatred (headliner)
• Clara Maas
• Sworrm
• Conor (Acoustic set from Gaping Axe Wound guitarist)
Get down, and remember: The best FOH bootleg wins a prize. Probably a beverage-related prize. Bonus points for it being on tape.
Apologies for the poster, but hey:
FearOfHatred - 13/04/07 - Christopher's Bar, Lincoln
Stitches for a gaping axe wound? :lol:Dark wrote:It seems Gaping Axe Wound are off the bill, as one of them's recovering from a major operation for 6-8 weeks.
Conscience Edit:
It'll be something like a mastectomy or heart bypass now, right? Not meaning to make light of it...

No, I can't take their name seriously, and neither can anyone else.
They're apparently "Comedy death/black metal", but seemingly VERY good at playing.
We don't know, just that "George is recovering from a major op and won't be able to play".
This probably means we're headlining again. While it's nice to have headlined our first 3 gigs, it means we get less crowd.

Cheers.. this time I'm putting up a recording of one of the songs. We were going to for the last one, but the mp3 never sent to two of the guys, and I'd rather not put it up until they all say yes. Might put both up if possible.

Live video of "Destruction Of The Nile"
well.. it's mostly complete.. it cuts into Elegy For No-One at the end. I sing the chorus and stuff.
Also, Izzy, all the tracks you'll hear have nothing to do with either myself or Ice (the bassist) as we joined after the last recordings (even though we're credited on the live-only remix CD). New recordings should be coming soon

Not bad at all
Had a listen at the MySpazz thing, sounds very nice, tho the drumming there sounds too 'drum-inna-box'...
I'll keep watching you

ARFs drumming on 'Marooned on Samsara' are also samples, but they sound like drums. That's what I meant of courseDark wrote:That's because they ARE samplesIzzy HaveMercy wrote:Had a listen at the MySpazz thing, sounds very nice, tho the drumming there sounds too 'drum-inna-box'...

And what I really need to know is exactly how many people does Christopher's hold.....does it have it's own P.A, how much would it cost to hire it out and who's the booking blokey?
Five cups of coffee just to be myself...when I'd rather be somebody else

Fewer than 15 people turned up (there was another metal gig down the road at the more popular pub), but we pulled a blinder.
I foolishly remembered halfway through the first song that I hadn't gotten my tape recorder out, but thankfully Steve's missus has recorded it on camcorder, so there may be video clips instead.
Here's to the next few gigs. May none of them be in Lincoln!
(anyone in Leeds need an electro-metal band?)
