Lowlands Invasion 13th - 16th... Surrender now or perish!!!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

My bro-in-law 's getting married the day after, so better have a clear head in the morning ;D

So no Lowlands for me, for the obvious reason of attending the marriage do on April 14.

I will be suitably dressed tho ;)

Still don't know if Samwise the Great will attend Friday Bash, I see him tomorrow on rehearsal, will ask him then...

Good one Iz... will be nice to see you even if you can't ascend to quite the level of debauchery that the rest of us may or may not!

No worries, we have it all under control. (for now) 8)
I've been Googling "piano bar Amsterdam"... though I fear that we might get an entirely different kind of establishment in that city...
So I ironed my tuxedo for nothing? :(

I think you'd look very suave in your tux... in fact I strongly suggest you wear it all weekend! ;D

It will make it a hell of a lot easier for me to find you outside the airport!

Can one of you loverbirds point out an exact location for the Friday do yet?

Or, if ARF finds some spare time in between binges, can he enlighten us as to which booze-place will be Ground Zero then? ;D

Also an approximate time would be nice, together with a suggestion for a birthday pressie ;)

No, that was the 'Charlatan' across from 33. But since there will be a 'New Wave' Party at 33 that Friday, the music will be much the same. So more Fad Gadget to look forward to, rest assured. The only thing we'll have to forego is the pleasure of Andrew singing along with Bauhaus. But then, we've got you for step in for him, don't we... ;D

You are welcome  and any new hands must also please bring a sleeping bag & own pillow.

Well, you ken about 33 already. Time : approximately around 9:30- ish in the pm, so as to make sure we've got plenty of sitting space to ourselves, and NO PRESSIES!!! It's NOT my birthday that day and I don't celebrate it on the day it is anyway. It's just an excuse for me to get some people I like in the same place and have fun, drinks and good music, 's all...

P.S.: Yes, I know, I'm catching up. Now if only I could remember what the hell I was doing last week that got in the way of posting... ;D

Duly noted. Tho the 'No Pressies' is not really something for YOU to decide , I can always bring something under the moniker of 'just a gift'. And I really cannot see you throw away a 3 litre bottle of Duvel without tearing your heart in twine! ;D

BTW, we have my new jobbie to celebrate as well, so be prepared...

 I did think of this when I started the thread actually... it would be reet lovely if you were coming Dave, and if it was Laibach that were playing in Amsterdam rather than Van Der Snore Generator  :innocent:
