Vision Thing Background

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Today i found out, while taking a very close look under the April skies at the Vision Thing cover (now and then you should do it), that it wasn't black.

It's near black but it contains some kind of... dark skies, smoke, CNN screen?

I know it's been written somewhere before, but never got what people talked about. Untill now.

This is a different edition than the one i bought years ago (but was damaged by a cup of coffee). hmm...

It's been discussed on here before. It's a city in the US but I can't remember which one. Detroit maybe?

I would do a search for the relevant topic, but, well, I can't be arsed

I know I started it, as I found out my LP cover didn't have fatty fingers but a photo in the black bit

Don't think we really agreed on what it was though, but I think most people were going for Detroit...

Aye Zeno, I thought mine was covered in greasy fingerprints too  . Thing is, most of the 12" collection actually do have greasy fingerprints all over them. :innocent:

Has that new album not come out yet? Where does the time go, as Fairport Convention might say.
