Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I've been grabbing some stuff by the 90s metal band "Death", anyone heard of them? Despite the rather blunt bandname they're really good. And the lyrics are really positive!

If you like Opeth, give 'em a try

One of the best things about Death, apart from Chuck School-dinner (rip) of course, was the period in the early to mid 90's with Gene Hoglan as drummer. One of the nicest guys you could ever meet and a real powerhouse with a wonderful touch behind the pots and pans.

Have shared a beer with him after a couple of Strapping Young Lad gigs and he's a top bloke.

They're very good, but I kinda lost them after Schuldiner passed away.

They were one of the noteworthy 'technical' death metalbands around, really liked them together with At The Gates...

mmmmm nostalgia...

As it happens, I've just downloaded an Ubuntu 6.10 live CD to have a look. It works on a Mac, too. Fancy.

I even had a look on here on its version of Firefox. HL looks well peculiar at 800x600 compared to the 1680x1050 version I'm used to :innocent:

Arse biscuits! Don't listen to him Zuma... What are synths if not cold gawdammit, that's how they're meant to be!

He also thinks Trans-Europe Express is "too tinny"... :P
