Have any of you heard Keep it in the family?
I felt quite optomistic before I heard that pile of old donkey droppings. Its shi'tter than you could ever imagine, and,by god, Hussey has turned out some wank since 1990.Even by his standards Keep it in the family is tripe.
I'll probably still buy the album though

.....but unfortunately I had open ears too.
Not a chance - awful !

From listening to the samples it doesn't sound very inspiring.
Think I'll stick to listening to their '86-'89 live stuff, at least that way I can remember how good they used to be rather than what they've become.
May possibly buy it for completist's sake...£7.99 isn't too steep, but I doubt it'll get much playback

I pretty much lost interest in t'Mish after the early 90s. So for that reason, I'm out.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

God is a Mullet might be more appropriate
"And when you start to think about death, you start to think about what's after it. And then you start hoping there is a God. For me, it's a frightening thought to go nowhere".

I don´t know what a bullet should be in that context it is used in by the m*****n, but I see that, unlike s**t itself, it passes the swearfilter unharmed.
A nice synonym.

My copy arrived yesterday and I listened to half of it in the car on the way to work today.
..not sure if I'll be listening to the other half on the way home tonight though!
Its not that it's bad as such - just a bit dull. Production is excellent and it all sounds good, but theres nothing really exciting on there - certainly nothing you could imagine ever becoming a permanent fixture in a live set.
Am slightly disappointed really - I have been a fan for a long time (the slow version of 'like a child again' was our first dance when I got married) and was hoping for a bit more than this.
Maybe its a 'grower', but for now - file under 'forgetable'

There's a scan of a review and interview with Wayne in the following topic;

But I probably could have made the topic heading a bit clearer...
(I don't think I'll be getting it).
