TSOM vs Beastie Boys vs Gwen Stefani

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Remove the Beastie Boys and it'd be really good.
I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

well... Each song seperate could have been a nr.1 for me (in my pre-sisters period What You're Waiting For was infact my nr.1 for a while)
but together...theyre just a desecration of eachother. The sisters are too good to mix with them and Lucretia just can't be touched, the beasties are good but way too whacky to mix with either of these, and Stefani is too much of a solo performer and too girlish music to be put with the Sisters. I like Lucretia too much to like this.
It's good to be back

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Needs a couple of tweaks in the mix, chorus for instance when there's too much going on, but I like it.

well first time in their life beasties and and gwen have a good background music  when they hear this they'll be be sorry for the rest of their life that they're part NOT of the sissies. :von: :von: Although I must admit (and i'm not into mixes) that the chap who came up with this must be quit good. No :?: :?: At least the idea :innocent:

Yes, thats excellent. The best I heard was MTV mixing Eminem's cleaning out my closet, with something else (I forget what now, d'oh).

I'm impressed by how often they can improve on the original music.
THIS is the Dean Gray one I like.

Wonderful :notworthy: Funny how GD's record company tried so frantically to get rid of the Dean Grey stuff, when the band members themselves said how much they liked it.
