Yes, they were the perfect example of how to sell out and loose all your fans in one go.
They've never topped the classic "Bostin' Steve Austin" album, although watching them live was like watching a bunch of schoolgilrls performing for a dare!
Luckily, I'll always remember them for Love Is the Slug, Rules & Regulations, and that rather groovy cover version of Spirit In The Sky!

I've just looked back at my past setlists from The Coven & Thursday Fury, and realised I've only actually played 1919 once since March 2006!
I'm definately playing them on Saturday (very, very early in the night) and again in July at Thursday Fury.
Even so, they're a very important part of the post punk/ early goth era and should be sought out at the earilest opportunity
