Anyone like them? Or even remember them?
Were one of my fav bands for ages
Anyway, this is fairly old news but just found out they've got a gig at Koko in September and will be playing all of the Creation album (and, err, hopefully some other stuff too!). With Terry Bickers back in the band.
Made my day
The House Of Love?
Yeh, they reformed a coupla years back and released an LP (which wasn't very good at all). Cool band, though.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Top band
Saw them a couple of times or more back in the day and then in 2005 when Bickers rejoined for the latest CD (review here).
Are there any other dates?

More UK dates rumoured for the summer but nothing announced yet. Think they're recording again tho
Not heard the last album and haven't seen them for about 15 years but never saw them play a bad show, even after Bickers buggered off..

Anyone noticed how one of Razorlight's records (Vice IIRC) is almost a straight rip-off of The House Of Love's Christine?

Saw them when the Creation album came out - was a big fan but they didn't do anything inspiring after that.
Destroy The Heart was a great single.
And Levitation did some good stuff too.

Saw them open for Pete Murphy in an outdoor venue back home around about '89, or so. The only song of theirs that I really remember is "I Don't Know Why I Love You."

Love the HoL and saw many a fine gig by them in the late 80's/early 90's. I actually thought the new album from a couple of years back, was very good.
Give me one good reason
