QUIFF GONE AWOL?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Has anyone else noticed the distinct lack of our favourite erstwhile moderator over the last few days? Where is he? Has he finally lost the will to live? :?: :? Definitely a little quieter ...........maybe its the ribs.......

Busy at work? So what. We're rushed off our feet - it's sent me into "too much to do paralysis" where instead of starting on my hundred strong list of tasks I just post here 24/7.

yep, but that was just for one night while we did a major software release/upgrade to the live website... we have to do them at 3 in the morning when it's quiet and they can bring down the back office system with the minimum of impact to the public :urff:

the reason i've been so busy lately is because the project that went live on monday night has been coming to and end - there's always loads of tying up of loose ends, chasing people for missing information, finishing the paperwork etc etc to do at the end of a project. :(

now we're onto project phase 2! here we go again! :o

twas ever thus.

We just got ISO9001:2000 at our place. Somehow we managed to fool the auditors into thinking we ran a tight ship and that everyone knew their job.

Just as well they weren't here yesterday. We lost half our systems and the only guy who knew how to fix it couldn't be contacted. So it has had to wait until this morning. I'll find out tonight if they have fixed it. They've probably failed.

You do tend to appear for a few days then disappear for a week or two. We do miss you though :D

And be careful with the 'power supply'. They bite at one end and kick at the other.....I bet you get a 'farty' one too!
