Has anyone else noticed the distinct lack of our favourite erstwhile moderator over the last few days? Where is he? Has he finally lost the will to live? Definitely a little quieter ...........maybe its the ribs.......
You dont think he's .....been seeing another forum do you ?...

Busy at work? So what. We're rushed off our feet - it's sent me into "too much to do paralysis" where instead of starting on my hundred strong list of tasks I just post here 24/7.

I'm sure you said on another topic you'd been on the night shift?Quiff Boy wrote:been "seeing another forum"?!?! LOL! whatever do you mean?

yep, but that was just for one night while we did a major software release/upgrade to the live website... we have to do them at 3 in the morning when it's quiet and they can bring down the back office system with the minimum of impact to the publicBig Si wrote:I'm sure you said on another topic you'd been on the night shift?Quiff Boy wrote:been "seeing another forum"?!?! the reason i've been so busy lately is because the project that went live on monday night has been coming to and end - there's always loads of tying up of loose ends, chasing people for missing information, finishing the paperwork etc etc to do at the end of a project.
now we're onto project phase 2! here we go again!
twas ever thus.

Just remember this. This rabble you keep talking about does most of the working, paying and dying in this community.

I never have anything to do, maybe that's why I don't post here that much

We just got ISO9001:2000 at our place. Somehow we managed to fool the auditors into thinking we ran a tight ship and that everyone knew their job.
Just as well they weren't here yesterday. We lost half our systems and the only guy who knew how to fix it couldn't be contacted. So it has had to wait until this morning. I'll find out tonight if they have fixed it. They've probably failed.

And be careful with the 'power supply'. They bite at one end and kick at the other.....I bet you get a 'farty' one too!hallucienate wrote:you still here then? haven't you got a caravan to catch?khepri II wrote:
