Channel four news just said it was Barrymore too....
Michael Barrymore was one of three men arrested today by police investigating the murder of Stuart Lubbock, say reports.
Barrymore, 55, was pulled in for questioning with two other men by detectives in Essex.
Essex police did not name any of the men but said three suspects - aged 32, 37 and 55 - were being held on suspicion of the murder of Stuart Lubbock. They were also being questioned about allegations of sexual assault, the force said.
Mr Lubbock, a butcher from Harlow, Essex, was found dead in a swimming pool at Mr Barrymore's home in Roydon, in March 2001. He had attended a late night party with Mr Barrymore and some friends.
Post-mortem tests showed he had suffered severe internal injuries which suggested sexual assault. Alcohol plus Ecstasy and cocaine were found in his bloodstream.
Police investigation
A lengthy investigation was carried out by Essex Police but no one was charged with any offence in relation to Mr Lubbock's death.
Mr Barrymore accepted a police caution for drugs offences following the inquiry.
Mr Lubbock's father Terry has fought a long campaign for justice for his son. He is planning to publish a book about the death next month, which he says will be "highly critical" of the way police investigated the case.
Mr Lubbock, 62, of Harlow, Essex, said the book will reveal gaps in evidence gathered and explain his theory about what happened.

Channel 4 don't! You don't happen to have some lottery numbers for this week too, do you ?markfiend wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/essex/6751965.stmMichael Barrymore is 55. It's quite a jump this time though if the charge is towards murder - makes me think they know a few things now that they didn't originally.....

Barrymore was asked if he was doing panto this year and he said "Well, I done Alladin 6 years ago and I haven't heard the end of it since".

When asked for his whereabouts at the time of Lubbock's death Barrymore said "Oh, I don't know, just bumming around the pool I think..."
