I always thought it was quite strange that Bungle wore pyjamas to bed but was nudey in the daytime

Although, technically, there is nothing wrong with what they are saying.
It is simply a case of how the audience interprets it right?
If it's aimed at kids, then it follows that these inuendos would go right over their heads (like at pantomimes)
Just the filthy minded adults would understand it slightly differently.
If George had said bollox instead of balls, then it's a different story.
& as for a twanger. WTF is a twanger?
I guess that shows the state of my mind, as I found it hilarious.
However, I have been part scripts that come even closer to indecency in several shows I used to be involved in on stage. So, I suppose I am already conditioned to it.
