School's Out - Heartland August 2007 Weekender

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

... and on another note

***Rounding Up The Clan***
who is and who isn't looking for a lift down

scotty has to leave the 'Forres Taxi' wi Ma'grit 'n' Cameron cause he's a Da', like, now (didnae think o'us when ye were... ye ken whit ah mean).

We need at least 4 (5 would be good) bods to make a car hire there and back affordable.
I'm in, as is Keith 2/3 to go. We need to know before we set wheels (see what I did there) in motion. All monies upfront.
maybe we should get one of them 'peeps carriers' and take about 8?

cheers
James

Shouldn't you travel independantly? What if something were to happen - we'd lose most of the Scottish contingent in one fell swoop.

And on that cheerful and doubtfully ecologically sound note.....

I might want to join in on that one if I do Glasgow too! Just one way though, if that's no problem…

We'll be in touch for sure? :D

Thankee DR I think he's going to some gingers convention elsewhere in Leeds. Might need to take you up on that offer as cash is tight. :D

I hope to get something a tiny bit less expensive.
You could fly Ryanair Charleroi-Stansted return for a total of €20, although the cost and times of travel at either end might not be viable.

I'm possibly up for it, although I've just realised I haven't asked for the Friday and Monday off work yet! I'll keep you posted.

What a quality showing this will be! We'll need a group photo with as many of us crammed in, just to prove that more than six Heartlanders CAN meet at one point without the sky falling!
