Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I find the article and study annoying. "Author Professor Brian Carpenter said: 'This wasn't a study about what people find funny. It was a study about whether they get what's supposed to be funny'" (italics mine). "Supposed to be funny" - according to whom, exactly? Cross-culturally, folks are going to have vastly different ideas about what's "supposed to be" funny, and what's not, I should think. I don't find most jokes funny, because (imho, of course) most of them are just too stupid. And with my Aspergian tendencies, I normally tend to interpret things far too logically, therefore negating (or entirely missing) the inherent levity. Bah!

Considering that, I think you laugh rather extremely often.
Way more often than me, as it is. Am I once again early with my maturation? :|

...at comments made here at HL and in chat, sure! But not at most "mainstream" stuff. I never have; I just don't find it funny. Perhaps it's due to the altogether different caliber of folk here at HL vs. in the "real world," eh? ;)

Is there such a difference? The peeps in here in the madness are like the ones out there in sanity.

Pssst! Pun may be invisible, or hardly visible, but intended!

HA! Mighty punny, there, Jums. ;)

Nah. Peeps in here are nothing like peeps "out there" - if they were, I wouldn't have anything to do with them. :P

Oh happy 13th!

It dawned on me when applying for my daughter's passport and they said she wasn't in the system... Of course she is, I applied at the same place for her first passport as a baby. The lady behind the counter said "Oh yes of course it's Friday the 13th!" hmmm...yeah right!

My mother probably wore her underwear inside-out but maybe that's too much information on here.

I'm alone tonight so if any intruder's I should hit them with an empty bottle of red wine as it would be silly to waste a full bottle on someone like that...hmmm...should I get scared when night falls?

I like the number 13 & I like Friday's.

Touch wood I'm safe! 8)

On all days with an even number: Fresh ones.
On all uneven dates: Turn it inside out.
That's how they tried to save washing powder, did I understand rightly? Image
