ASHIKA

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Exactly. At Heartland, folks call things as they see them. There's rarely any sugarcoating (or turd-gilding) here, I'm afraid... ;)

hey, you find masks in real life just the same.
but in most Forums the only thing you get to see is what is here on screen.
HL is a lot more, it depends on how deep you want to put yourself into it, but there are real persons behind these usernames and they are not afraid to show themselfs because they know everyone thinks this way.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I'm disagreeing with your statement.

@ro prasad
Did you have anything to do with SSV at all?

In all honesty I did listen & it doesn't really float my boat.
Once I had figured out the noise that was like someone sanding a banister was actually a guitar, I sort of lost interest.
But, at least you are doing something constructive & not smashing up phone boxes etc.
Good luck.

Steve

Numerous requests? Most people on here have given you fairly short shrift.

:P Sorry, not trying to tread on your toes.

Maybe I'm just in a bad mood about being back in the country.

I took the time and effort to give your music a listen by the way, and I do like all people making the effort to make music.

Sadly enough, that's about all the praise you will get.

It is dull, it even sounds funny in a sad way (Temple of Rock and Roll, NEVER allow your cat to tapdance on yer Fisher-Price keyboard!), it is uninspired, it is out of tune and you cannot keep up a decent rhythm for more than four beats. Sounds scaringly like a gazillion of old third-rate Batcave/deathrock combos no?

Try listening to some other bands than, say, The Sisters exclusively.

Then again, all the best of luck to you, in time this might turn out for the better.

I won't buy your record, BTW. Judging by all the appraisal you already received from the Creme de la creme of the gothic music indutry, I don't need to buy it, since it will already be sold out by the time I read this.
